Technology: Eurand Minitabs®
Eurand’s Minitabs are tiny (~2 mm diameter) cylindrical tablets coated with a functional membrane to control the rate of drug release. The tablets are filled into capsules, allowing a combination of multiple drugs and/or multiple release profiles in the same dosage form. The Eurand Minitabs can be formulated as matrix tablets prior to further coating.
Eurand Minitabs also can be used as a sprinkle on foods.
