Our strategy is to be a leader in the development and commercialization of innovative specialty pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products.

Our goal is to use our innovative technologies and know-how to enable the development of novel, value-added products that can improve patient's lives.

Throughout our history, we have invested in the development and application of innovative technologies that have resulted in the commercialization of more than 40 products worldwide. We have gained the insight and understanding of the global healthcare industry to develop products that meet the needs of patients, care providers and payors. We intend to build on those successes and continue to develop products that will help satisfy the unmet medical needs of the future.

We will continue to invest in our extensive research and development capabilities in the US and Europe and continue to seek new product development opportunities. These products may originate from our own research and development laboratories or may be in-licensed from other companies or academic institutions.

The products we develop may be commercialized by ourselves or through licencing and marketing relationships. We are uniquely positioned to commercialize our products globally through our extensive network of relationships that we have developed over the years.

Our specialty product sales and marketing organization in the United States is focused on niche products in targeted therapeutic areas. Our initial focus will be the marketing of products used in the treatment of cystic fibrosis and chronic pancreatitis. Our intention is to develop or acquire additional products that target these disease states.

Based upon our past successes in identifying, acquiring and integrating businesses and technologies, we intend to pursue assets that would further our research and development capabilities, expand our product pipeline and the number of marketed products promoted by our specialty sales and marketing organization.
