Gearóid is CEO of Eurand and an executive member of the board of directors. He joined Eurand in 1994 as our Managing Director. Previously, he was the General Manager of the American Home Products Corporation subsidiary, Fort Dodge Animal Health in Ireland, and has held management positions at subsidiaries of Sterling Drug and Pfizer. Gearóid completed his bachelor of science degree at University College Galway, Ireland, and has a masters degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the National University of Ireland. |

Mario joined Eurand as Chief Financial Officer in 1999. From 1990 to 1999, he held various positions at Recordati, including Vice President Corporate Development from 1995 to 1999, Division Manager of Diagnostics from 1993 to 1995 and Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1993. Additionally, he has held various management positions at Montedison (Fine and Specialty Chemicals) and Digital Equipment Corporation. Mario holds a bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Milan and a masters degree in business economics from Harvard University. |
Manya Deehr

Manya joined the company in 2007 as Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Eurand, she was a partner in the business and finance practice of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP, where she worked exclusively with life sciences companies. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, she was, among other things, Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for an early-stage drug discovery company and a law clerk for the Honorable Giles S. Rich on U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, California, Colorado and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Manya has a law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Madison and a bachelor degree in biochemical sciences from Harvard University. |

John became Chief Commercial Officer of Eurand in 2006. He has served as the President of Eurand, Incorporated, our US subsidiary, since April 1999 and was the Vice President of Operations from 1995 to April 1999. Previously, he held management positions at subsidiaries of American Home Products Corporation and Sterling Drug in Ireland. John holds a bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from University College Dublin, Ireland. |
Michael Walters

Michael joined the company in 2007 as Executive Vice President of Eurand Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and is responsible for the anticipated U.S. commercial launch of the Company's pancreatic enzyme product, Zentase™. Prior to joining Eurand, he was President and CEO of SourceCF, a specialty pharmaceutical company he co-founded in July, 2001 which focused on serving the needs of cystic fibrosis (CF) patients, physicians and care givers. Additionally, Mike was involved in the management of the launch of Tobi for PathoGenesis. He has served in various managerial positions of progressively increasing responsibility at Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson), including Director of Management Development, Director of Training and Regional Sales Manager. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Chemistry from Vanderbilt University.
